Can I add equilizer to my BOSE???? PLease help

hey guys...I want to add an equilizer to my bose. Fist of all is it possible to do this? The reason i want to do this is i hear lot of mids with my music which i dont like...all i want to be able to hear outside of the car is high and lows but my system sounds like **** with bose and subs..you hear everything outside of the car, which i dont like..so someone please tell me how can i add an eq to my bose...thanx in advance.......

Think of it this way. Any good aftermarket equalizer uses only preamp level signals and transfers them via RCA cables. No factory radios use RCA preamp outputs or inputs on their receivers or amplifiers....
There are crappy EQ boosters with built in amps that you could concieveably use with the existing speakers in your car via a low level Bose adapter but these will actually sound worse than your factory setup and are a waste of money, granted they don't cost much to begin with. I believe the adapter would cost more than the EQ..
