For 4th gen with Bose

Did you remove the stock black plastic speaker holder? I still have it with my components, I just thought maybe some of you had taken it off, and or had replaced it with some mdf around it.

I left it for now, as it isn't hurting anything. I'll be making fiberglass enclosures here in the next week.

MDF ring plus sound deadening will give you the most response from your speakers. But if your not deadening and are just throwing the speakers in there...doesnt matter terribly.

can someone tell me how to install amp and subs in my 99 maxima .. i wanna leave my factory deck inside which is the bose.. just wanna add amp and subs into it. I need know step by step where everything is located and what to do. thanks
