Yes it is for someone else. My brother has a new Nissan Titin. Im done spending that kind of money on stereo equipment. I like what I have, sometimes it can be a bit much, and if anything I would get a smaller sub cause the w7 is way heavy!!!

I gotta say i wouldnt touch anything on that list, except for the subs as there's no LEGAL warranty on any or most of those products.

Im sure I can throw something together, but with some reputable products it would exceed that budget a lil bit.....

dawg you want the 'legal' warranty you gotta pay the $$$ for it. I'm all about maximizing utility. The best enjoyment for the money strictly product wise in that list, excluding extreneous factors like warranties.

but yeah i have never had anything break ever out of stuff i've bought on ebay or with full legal warranties so maybe i'm just lucky, or careful, who knows

don't forget deadening, an enclosure, wiring.

I'd just look to a single 10 or 12, a decent component set, and a 4 channel amp to push both...with the most emphasis being on finding a comp set you like, dampening, and a good install.....

PERSONALLY with that budget I'd scan audio forums looking for reputable members that have good stuff for sale used, but I'd try to break it down kinda like this....

dampening wiring box......200, maybe install
HU: 200
Amp: 200-300
Sub 100
Comps 250 ish....

I guess it has to do with personal preference...but I wouldn't dedicate that much of my budget to bass, as cool as it is.
