Remote Start in a Manual 5th gen

Sup. I have this Clifford RSX 3.5 way Remote Start for my 5 speed 5th gen. This guy at some car shop told me that a Autopage alarm is better for my car then the clifford. Can anyone here verify this?

No. He was selling you what he has. The Clifford (Any DEI product) will outperform any Autopage, any day of the week. Were they going to install it in a 5 speed? If so, I can guarantee it won't be done right. No shop knows about the factory neutral safety switch on newer Nissans. Where in FL are you?

maxmale - yes, our cars have a factory neutral safety switch that can tell the alarm brain whether the car is in gear or not, so you are 100% safe with a remote start.

outstanding. should i go with the clifford? so if i go to remote start it and it is in gear for some reason, then i am assuming it will not start right.
