Given eDesigns track record, no way in hell. They have this awful habit of making things look REAL good on paper...

its not a deck for everybody(aesthetics/ergos/ipod control or changer needs), and as i'm learning not quite ideal for 4way active, because you lose flexibility(but doable). Then theres the warranty/accessibility issue. All i can say is i'll stay tuned..

lol, promises delivery. the only way he could make that deadline is because he did not "design" it/build it himself.

I've got my HU/processing needs taken care of, but I'd love to play with one. If it delivers what it says at the price it's going for (pre-order group buy or even at regular price), I think it's a great deal.

I hadn't heard/read about issues with Ben/elemental. Got a link anyone?

They've been promising lineup additions for eons now with very little to show for it. Additionally, there have been countless issues with their equipment, to the point where there was a large 'Post Your eD Problems Here' thread, which was on icixsound.com (that thread has since been closed, lolz). Problem with that was that it's eDs forums, so of course they are going to have a fast retort to any realistic problem. Don't you love politics?

What first run? These Hu's been available for over a year, URAL has made HU's for a few years. Just never in the US market.

Making them for the US market may require some alterations. Especially on AM/FM tuning bands...

The only difference between the bandwith in comparison to the US decks is that their bandwith reaches lower into the 78.xx FM stations but as high as ours. In any case each step is 0.01 on these Hu's, so it should be a non-issue.

Then I 'should' not have used that keyword.... the FM tuner works here, just covers a bigger range

Im still not going for it. IF and thats a big IF it would be after theres been enough US feedback to back it up...

Look at Alto, not like they didnt have experience and made great products, they just didnt perfect it too well for 12V systems...
