amp is in safe mode.

long story short. i took a corner too fast, my box wasn't fastened down that well. some wires came out, and some bent. i got everything back into place and what not. now the lights on my amp are flashing and nothing is working.

amp is a JBL CS Series 580 watt.

any help would be appreciated.

go back and double check all the wiring to see they're in the right place/secured. wouldn't hurt to check again.

I agree, also check the wiring in the box, and to the head unit.

You need a new amp if that is the case.

Did you also check inside the sub box for loose wires?

unplug the wire going to the subs and see what happens. Turn the car Off and then back on. If it is still in protect mode you will need to have it serviced. Also check to make sure the ground is still secure.

the amp power LEDs are flashing. after taking a look at the JBL manual online it says that the cause is the voltage is less than 9V on the BATT+ connection. my alternator isn't the problem, so i figure it has to be the amp. this audio place here in town is going to take a look at it for me this afternoon.

so just take a DMM and measure what the voltage is at the end of the power wire. save you the time and money from getting a shop to look at it.
