Double Din In a 6th gen??

Guys I have a quick question before This gets moved. I it possible to install the Kenwood 6.5" in dash Tv where our Nav screen goes.
This is the model:

I would relocate the Info/Nav screen to the bottom compartment, and install the Kenwood on top, which will serve as the radio/dvd/nav unit.

Thanks
Jon

Anythings possible with enough money, time, tools, and patience. But is that worth it? Probably not. You could probably fit it into the Metra dash kit without a ton of work though.

I bought an AVIC-D1 thinking I could do the same thing, however, there is a steel bar (strut bar maybe? I don't know) right behind the info screen. I assume the Kenwood is fairly deep like the D1 and won't fit. Seems the only easy option is to get the metra kit (or scoshe kit, which I have), cut out the map pocket so it fits the screen.

For that matter, can we post some pics of double-din installs in 6th gens? I got mine done at Best Buy and I am unhappy with it. I'd like to see some real, professional installs. Thanks!
