That thing must be crazy bright at night lol. How's the playback of the mp3's? Does it show titles and stuff? It matches pretty well with the dash kit.

Looks alot better than how it did at Don's on Thursday...

The SQ definitely improved for the better...

Many audiophiles swear that tubes are the only electronics that can faithfully reproduce musical sounds. While I cant say that my perceptions were correct in correlating how the tubes affects affect guitar amps in comparison....its doing something, just cant pinpoint it. All I know is my topend is the best its ever been in terms of separation and detail, the midrange and vocals got a 'tad' warmer but it dissapears on the higher end.The low end benefited as well, i have a spatial quality around the instruments that i did not have before. All this without tone controls, just flat signal.

I had set my Eclipse on flat and defeated all tone controls over a week prior in preparation for the swap. So i'm most definitely happy with the upgrade.

This leaves me ready for my midbass swap in the next week or so, and time to look for a processor.

Haha...according to 'Donnie' about same as an AVN...

Its a JDM unit, therefore only available in Japan...although you can get it here...
http://www.audiocubes.com/category/C..._Receiver.html

I only paid about half of that by knowing someone, that knows someone, that knows a millionare...

In a ECA highend HU showdown it 'subjectively' did well in listening tests...

I knew 'Donnie' would get you to post

Nah man, those are the pieces i ordered last week from a 2k-2k1 kit. I still need to go to your connect to get the custom one made. i'd love it if they can make it one big piece, no seams as opposed to two...I'll look cleaner

that night pic is bananas. Does it pulse or is it a continual glow under load? I would imagine that it could get irritating being front and center like, that if it goes to the beat of the music.
My main question is how close did it come to the mac units? My friend used to have a complete mac setup in his saturn (That was the shop demo car, he changed to eclipse when i left NY), but it was an experience. Really opened up alot of sounds that you would never even imagine. I can just imagine with the other items you have listed :whoot:

That setup looks pretty good. The deck reminds me of my dads old stereo system with the frequency guage.
