Oddyssey Battery ?'s

Ive been looking into doing a lighter battery set up for my car. I see that some people are using the PC680MJ, but the cranking amps are low. I ran across this other battery and wanted to know if there would be any issues anyone can think of in using it.

Would you use the battery full time, or just at the track? There are much better ways of saving weight.

Well if you need a battery, you can save some weight on the front of the car with the PC680MJT. I'm running one in my Z. Weight savings of 24lbs over the Optima red top that was in the car. No problems as long as the car does not sit for 3+ weeks with out running. Warning this is not a battery for sitting around running the system, you will drain it before you realize. The reserve time is very limited.

Thanks for the info. I decided to go with a Red Top.
