My max now has tremendous bass!! My simple system consists of the Bose stuff with 2 12" L7's sealed powered by a Rockford power1500bd. It is crazy powerful. As per some advice from other org member, I decided not to buy a capacitor for now. Im hoping I wont need to get one. Cant wait to break them in. Anyone else running kicker square subs? Oh here are pics....

The bass **** is in a discreet location. See ya at the next meet!! Where my rims??
ps- I did add a d34 yellow top.

He' has square and round boxes with the exact specs for the max trunk. I posted about it in another thread. I love the trunk space thats left over with monstrous bass.
I might try a trick I did in my 3rd gen trunk, which is to dye the carpet black so everything will match.

Calm down there buddy. Theres absolutely no need for your attitude and your stay here will be short lived if you continue with it.
Furthermore L7s are actually intended for vented enclosures. I dont see a vent there. Ive also seen on this forum alone...Eclipse,Kicker,Sony,JL as well as others used in the same enclosures. Im guessing your telling me its the exact airspace for all of those right?
djfrestyl is right, as well as Pearl96max. I remember the old L7 I had could go in a box as small as .88 cubic feet. Now it could get loud in that box, just did not sound great in it. Gave up alot of bass extension. Reason I went with a 10" sub, could still go in a relatively small box, and sound nice too. Just being loud does not equate nice sound.

Add in sub displacement, and you're going to be well below the specs for most subs. Especially most 12's.
THEY ****** SOUND SHlTTY...man.
You know what? They sound good to me and thats about all I care about. It seems like my stay in this forum might be short lived indeed. I have only posted a couple of times and have really met some grade A ***-holes. Just my opinion. Why do you hijack my threads to try to show how smart you think you are. Thats a waste of time to me. If you dont have anything good to say then just dont post. Im bored.

If you cant take constructive criticism, then dont post. You posted a thread in a public forum, did you expect EVERYONE to say Holy Crap thats incredible? If so then Im sorry to let you down.
Im not trying to prove anything to you, Im only telling you the facts. Nothing more, nothing less.
So you think Im an @sshole, join the club, alot of people feel the same way.
I might get upset, but its only cause I dont feel like reading through bs just to get a question answered. I know not everybody is gonna like my flavor so I dont expect them too. All I gotta do is hit the red X. problem solved.
Don......You guys are great!!!!....I remember not so long ago feeling the same way as swowlinc does, but hey, i did take it in stride and learned alot about true SQ and the equipment it takes to get there, Yes everyones opnion and flavor are different but there really is truth to alot of what is being said. If you just wanted someone to stroke your ego and tell you how sick your trunk looks then this truly is not the place to get that. I would highly suggest to those of you who are not looking to expand your knowledge and get some true feedback worth of merrit then i would not post at all....its give and take ...........man!......by the way we all know that to produce proper SQ you need to be running Jl equipment....right Don?.LOL!!.
Your setup looks good though....
Keep Krusin,
