you're putting 6 subs into one car? hmm...i say get ready to replace an alternator or two, pick up about 2 backup batteries and then you can do it. Also you may have to change your suspensiopn in the back because i would think you rear end would sag LIKE HELL if someone were to sit down int he back due to all the weight...

I would have used some of that money for some quality interior speakers.

That just seems like a big waste. Juan is on the ball, definately should have bought 4 speakers and stayed with 2 subs. 2 subs 1 set coax's 1 set comps, get rid of the bullet tweeter. Get rid of the cap, get an aftermarket HU. If 2 subs aren't enough for you your doing something wrong.

well suspension is not my issue already done that no saggin issue...a far as the mids the zeus handle that..my stock speakers are barely heard over my ev's n zeus..next is some eclipse componet speakers...just waitin on that for now...my batt is holding up gr8 because the ev's and zeus do not have that much draw bc they r mid/high speakers only my 12's r killing the alt.....

So you're letting subs that are in your trunk do your midbass duty? . The point of stock speakers or speakers in that location is to have a well rounded sound, and to have a SOUNDSTAGE. Right now you have absolutely no staging. When you get those eclipse's you'll be doing alot better.

You're wasting all that space trying to use SUBwoofers for mids and highs. SUBwoofers are built to play the range that a midbass can't. Submidbass frequencies. Your defeating the purpose completely. Honestly your ev's and zeus's would get blown away in "mids and highs" by any real quality mid's and tweets.

Did you get some guidance when choosing this system? Worse that Avi's!

I would throw those Eclipse speakers up front. Get rid of the bullet tweeters in the back. If all those 10's are infinite baffle subs, I would probably leave them as they are (if the rear deck is not reinforced sufficiently I would tackle this, and try to seal up the trunk as best I could). Maybe make all four subs from the same company, and same models. At this point I would have no need for the 12's, and so I would have a ton of trunk space left. Just some advice, is all.

I wish you good luck over in Iraq, and thank you for your service. Stay safe.

Aquired taste? Maybe it's just that you haven't experienced a quality setup.

Wasnt the name of this thread "Wha u guys think?" i dont get it. Why start a thread called "wha u guys think" and dont like it when we tell you what we think? Why not just name the thread "I dont care what you think" and move on with your life. Jeez...getting all defensive and upset ^^^^ there. Maybe you shouldnt post stuff you're not gonan hold yourself responisble for posting. You sound like a kid on that last statement...think about it, like anyone really cares

P.S. I dont mean to sound offensive but that last comment just sounded so childish...my bad in advance.

Our lil box? Please man. You need to get out of the cocoon you have yourself wrapped in. No one likes your setup because you're using the wrong components to do the job. If you had 6.5's in the rear deck instead of 10's or w/e for mids and highs you would be alot better off. Your using speakers that aren't meant to deliver mids and highs for that purpose.

You may like how it sounds, but honestly there are 6.5's that would **** on the setup you have and you would be more than happy with that.

I didn't know "bad" was an acquired taste.

I don't eat **** but maybe if I eat enough of it I'll acquire a taste for it.

But hey, if YOU like it, and your ears can handle it, and you're NOT missing midbass, kudos to you, we'll be waiting when you get your 540.
