Ok .. I have the inverter and UPS deal all ready... but the inverter needs to be connected to a circuit rated for 25amps or more and it needs to be SWITCHED power so when I kill the ignition the power to the inverter dies. Where am I going to find this power lead?

Thanks in advance (many more problems to come, I anticipate)

later,

I have my inverter wired straight to the battery, plus to plus and ground to negative. I threw a 30 amp inline fuse in there and also a relay. The relay taps into the cig lighter for the ignition kill.

Hey dude, thanks for the reply. It would be super-helpful to me if you could be more specific. Like -- precisely what kind of relay?

I am assuming I am going to have hot running from battery to relay. Then an accessory wire (like lighter) into another post on relay. Then a "switched hot" running out of relay and to inverter. I am assuming the inline 30A fuse is on the wire that runs from the battery to the relay?

Thanks in advance for your help,
