how to Reprogram silencer?

does anyone know how to reprogram silencer or how do you know if it needs reprograming.

its a new security feature that can be added. I guess 2006 models are comin with them. Anyways it disables the engine until the button on the remote of the silencer is pressed even if u unlock the doors using the keys or the remote for car.

I'm not sure that's a stock feature, even for '06. We have a chip in the key that send signal to ECU to deliver fuel when you start the car.

This is from the dealer. They are offering it every 2006 max, atleast thats wat the dealership told me. This is not a standard feature but its is available.

Could be the "dealer sucker-add-ons" option. Car won't start anyway unless someone clone your chip or hack the ECU.

Sounds like an aftermarket option installed by the dealer to pad their profit margin.

I was never offered that option when I purchased my new '06 in December. So not familiar with it.
