Ok, i've been going back and forth with this for a few days... I checked on the RF site and my sub instructions for wiring and both say that i have a 2 ohm load the way there wired... However im not sure if that wiring is for a bridged amp? I will try to descirbe the wiring......
Amp is bridged..........2 wires going into box..........one wire hooked to pos. on sub 1 and other to neg. on sub. 1............then just two short wires hooked from pos. to pos. and neg. to neg. both from sub 1........ In other words parallel right? Now does that not give me a 2ohm load or does bridging the amp change this? My subs or svc 4ohm. My amp is stable to 2ohms and has not when in to protect mode yet. But i've been told it may not be safe since it is bridged??? Someone plz help me out with this simple problem

it looks like you have 2 4 ohm svc subs wired in parallel. hence, this will give you a 2 ohm load. therefore, your amp sees a 2ohm load. by bridging ur amp, u CANNOT cahnge the load of the speakers. only the wiring of the speakers can chancge the load the amp sees. bridging ur amp only maximizes the total power of the amp by combining two channels into one. depending on the power ur amp is in the BRIDGED mode and at what load, will help you figure out the power the amp is recieving at 2 ohms...hope this helps..
and oh yea, since ur speakers are wired in parallel and you have a 2 ohm load, your amp CAN OPERATE SAFELY in BRIDGED mode. so ur good. if it were to drop below two ohms then it WOULD go into protect mode..

No that is wrong. Your amp in bridged mode is stable down to 4ohms. Not 2 ohms. In stereo it is stable to 2 ohms. You have to change your wiring. Check out my post in your other thread about wiring.

Your both wrong...You above me have no idea of telling if he is running a two channel ( most are only 4ohm stable in bridged mode) or not...so your first advice was not accurate....same goes to you Nismo....if he has a monoblock amp then bridging at 2 ohms could be ok....

wow, sorry for the lack of info guys........ My amp is a RF 400s punch rated 200 rms x 2 @ 2ohms and 100 x 2 @ 4 ohms. 400 x 1 @4 ohms... So if i don't bridge it i will have to wire into just 4 ohms right? I would like to put 200 watts rms on each sub though... This u see is my situation.
My theory is that if it was wired terribly wrong the amp would defintely go into PROTECT MODE.. I don't see where should matter if it's bridged or not.....

you can only wire your subs down to 2 ohms or up to 8 ohms if you're going to have them wire into a single channel. the amp can take the 2 ohms bridged, but it WILL get hotter than normal, and you'll risk shorting its lifespan by doing so.
why not just wire each sub to its own channel on the amp?

i'd suggest selling that amp, and getting a monoblock so that you can leave it wired at 2 ohms, and the amp will still be within its stable operating parameters.

I already knew it was a 2 channel RF amp. Tards. Who's wrong now? Ya thats right 
Anyway I would run it the safe way for now, then maybe save up for another 400s. Then you can bridge each one into each sub
