top component sets

I just wanted some people to post their experiences with some of their top choice component sets and approx. cost for them. Thanks

(sorry if this has been covered before but I was bored, lazy, and curious)

You are going to have to narrow it down JUST a bit.

Component sets run from $99 to like $10K+

Anything Rainbow. The line you will go with depends on your budget.

You have to judge for yourself. All of the better brands will sound great, but what I like may be different than what you like. Diamond, Rainbow, Focal, all are really good, but your budget and your taste is what really matters.

I suggest Germaniums. Nice silk tweet. The set will provide excelent midbass with a properly deadened door.

Depends what you listen to, what theyll be powered with and how.... Actively or passive.

Personally

Rainbow
Dynaudio
Morel
DLS
would be my top choices.

Focal is a solid product, but surely to harsh for my tatses and others listed above have proven themselves to equal or exceed what Focal can do and typically at a lower price point.

I listened to Don and am very happy with my Germaniums. I was thinking of going for a set that cost more, but that was not necessary.

Momo's are high school stuff homes...

All the European brands named above offer entry level highend to super high end, and have models across budgets. All are proven , and audiophile grade.
Theres a whole world outside the crutchfield/best buy/circuit city stuff.

well, i can hear my POS stockers as well...but i'm talking about blocks away...

i think there's this white tahoe in my area with tweets dangling from the A pillars, somehow made to aim out the window. i remember seeing him at a stoplight a few streets down from my house.

Lol blocks away. I can't hear it from 10 feet away, but right outside, sure.

Dampening FTW.

All this speakers cost tooo much, i was looking for something around $300.

I found this Focal speakers Focal 165 K2 PolyKevlar

Are they any good?? and if i get a Zapco amp (Zapco 350)100W x 2 at 4 ohm stereo, is this amp going to be underpowered for this Focal speakers?

you should chill out with this online buying, your gonna end up taking a chance in getting a fake or real pair of speakers, then when something goes wrong 2 months later, the company you bought it from was shut down for either selling the items without permission or for selling fraud items.
