what's a good amp for a pair of 500w watt....

Orion XTR SERIES 2 10 inch speakers?

4 ohm dual voice coils.....

And a good sealed box....

A 1000 watt Power Akoustik amp, ya thats the way to go.

I would prefer 150 and under for a amp but I will do 200....

And for a sealed box (2 10inch) I would perfer 60 and under but then again I don't know the anyting about boxes.

I can do 400 for every incluing installation.

Your prices are very low. Don't forget to factor wiring. Are you doing the install yourself?

No...but I didn't know how much things would cost and since it's a older car I didn't want to spend alot of money....

What's the average for a cheap little amp/box/installation gonna run me? I have the radio and speakers already.

Box is like $40 typically. Wires are another $30-$40. Installation is about $60 for a standard amp/sub.

That leaves ~$250-$200 for an amp....

To be honest I don't even know...

For that price, and that much power, you may have to look into Kenwood or MTX type amps. Check at BB or CC.

Regardless of how old the car is, you could always get a better quality setup, then move it into future vehicles or sell it. It's going to be more difficult to sell lesser quality equip. down the road. I don't think the age of the vehicle should determine how you purchase your audio equipment. Better equipment will also lead to a more enjoyable listening experience.

there is a company that sells q-logic boxes on ebay for decent prices... they are an authorized dealer and ship very fast... Look in ebay stores for "lose your hearing 2" that's the name of the store.. or you can search the name "tpranzatelli" also..
