He could have gotten his numbers way up if he had added in some lemons to the mix. Either way, his numbers seem really low (5V @ 4mA), even for the potatos... two potatos will give you about 1.5V at 0.2mA. With 500 pounds worth, he should have had no problem reaching 12V @ 4mA.
