weird system setup..help

i recently bought a 92 se, it has a clarion 400x4, powering a bass tube 8in and the rear 6x9's, it also has a kenwood 200x2 powering the fronts

i had alpine type r 12 DVC4ohm, and a xpolde 600 4chnl

i wanted to use the type r with the clarion and the xplode powering it, so i gooked 1 to each coil, and it sounded like crap,

so then i combined the wired before hooking them up and the xploid cut off

how can i wire it where i have 2 amps going to a DVC sub? is this possible, is this not going to give me more powr like im thinking

if its not possible ill just use the type r and the bass tube, but i would rather have 2 amps to they type r, cuz i know the xplode is was underpowering it

thanks for the help, i know its kinda un usuall to have 2 amps to 1 sub

Thats just stupid sorry....use one amp ONLY. Preferbly a two channel so you can wire the sub in a series and bridge the amp to be sure your getting the same amount of power to each coil...

Yeah that sounds like a bad idea........ Stick with one amp for both subs

Weak or not weak doesn't matter, btw. You can blow subs because they're underpowered.

The type r should be plenty of bass for you what do you need the tube for? if its that bad get a better sub wetup but don't run two different types of subs.

Also you cannot add two channels of amps from different amps to one coil. That will burn up one or both of the amps as the output from one wil not match the other. Only a handful of amps are able to do that, and niether one of your amps can do that.
