PA amps......any good?

Does anyone here have experience with power acoustik amps? If so, how good are they, I know there not very high $ amps and that's good.... but what's good about buying a nice good looking high power "cheap" amp..

Not looking for a killer amp, just something that performs well and is realiable in the heat.. So far i've seen gothic, and power series from PA...

posta budget and we will try to help. Otherwise keep saving up. Better to do it right the first time, it does end up being less expensive in the end.

Humm if you run them at series the speakers will be 8 ohms and parallel will be 2 ohms. Maybe you’re thinking of having the speakers run in parallel and then bridge the amp?

If there run in parallel and then bridged that would equal a 1ohm load, and that's not a good thing for my amp.. According to the jl audio tutorial i can wire a series/parallel config.. and have a 4ohm load to one channel... Still get 200watts each, but at 4ohm instead of 2 which makes my amp much cooler..

Anyways back to the original question about PA's

Recommend me something good but not too expensive... I can't invest hundreds of dollars in it but i don't want to get a horrible brand either..
