Bose Problem?

Ok, I've had 2 first generation I30s now. I understand that some Maximas have the same bose system as this car. The thing I notice is that whenever I hit a big pavement irregularity, the system shuts off for a second. In my 96, it used to only be when the car bottomed out; on my 98 however, it shuts off when i run across railroad tracks! Do any of you guys have the same problems? Any pointers?

I've never heard of that problem. What year is your Maxima? 95-99 I30's and Maximas had the same bose. 00+ had a different setup than the 4th gens though I think both had the same setup.

If you have an 00+ check to make sure the door connections are tight. Also it seems like something is not connected right or something is loose, explaining why it shuts off over bumps, as if the loose wire/connection is jiggling during this time. Check it out.
