speaker wiring question

This might be a newbie question. Does speaker wiring have to be symmetrical? Like does the speaker wiring from the amp to the fronts have to be the same length on the left and right side? I'm just curious cause one side is longer then the other by a foot or so. Same goes with from the xover to the tweeters. I wasn't thinking at the time but now I am curious.

Ummm I don't think that would matter just as long as it's the same gauge. However i would try to keep them as close to the same length as possible.

Wtf... the length does not matter. How would you possibly expect to run the same length of wire to the left side and the right? Not possible. Make them whatever length you need.
