How Do I Get These To Fit?

I'm installing this (the 715-ql) DVD flip out....with a Pioneer DVD/CD player (the same idea as the Innovatek 386) in my 01 SE with the BOSE head unit....where can I buy a kit that will accomodate both of these devices?

Has anybody used a similar set up before? Using two devices instead of just the one with a storage pocket below it?

Either the Scosche kit, or the GXE kit from Dave B, will accomodate two single din units. That flip out isnt a source, as in it has no audio outputs if im correct, so you arent really wiring up two sources. All you have to do is give the flip out power, ground, and a video rca cable, and wire up your other deck normally.

gxe kit=mad dough. I'd spend that $ elsewhere..like a single din tv/cd/dvd player.

Must not care how the trim piece looks then...

From experience, the Schoshe kit doesnt fit even when you drill redrill the holes. The HU didnt even fit in the hole. We spent hours trying to fix it and just got mad and threw it away.

eh I'm **** but I can deal with it...I am usually staring at the TV rather than the 1/16" the scosche is off from my dash. however, if you need a perfect fitting kit and that matches, GXE owns all.

Its not too horrible if you have patience. I redrilled the holes and the head unit dropped right in. I can definitely see how youd have problems though...but there are plenty of worse cars/kits I do on a regular basis that its not too bad.

thanks for all the input guys! much appreciated!

from what you are saying would this Scosche NN1494 kit be able to fit 2-single DIN systems?

does anyone with this kit know if I can jus remove the bottom pocket and slide my DVD/CD player in there and use the top one for the Screen unit?

Yes. Provided the units you are buying are standard 1 din each, they will bolt right up to the factory radio brackets.

Because I cant afford to buy an all in one and that radio has all the features as a all in one plus, I think 3.5" screen is to little to watch a movie....And its cool..lol
