Need amp advice

I have 2 Orion xtr series 2 subwoofers (10inch) and I need to amp to push both of them well, they are peak 500 watt rms power....

A decent but not to expensive amp will do, my car is 11 years old and I don't want to spend money....

I went to the flea market today and they had some amps I've never heard of....so I dedided to go home and seek some advice first.

How do you want to wire them? Also, give a budget and how much power you want to throw at them. They are peak 500-watts, but that may not be how much you want to run them with.

Good decision on not buying amps you've never heard of at a flea market.

I know nothing about wiring....

I don't know much about wattage but the people I've asked said aim for 100 watt amp but check for rms over peak....

I'd probably just get a 2 bridge amp with around 800 wattage, I just want something that sounds decent, I am getting older so I don't want to come thru like a teenager with bang, bang, bang.

honestly, I'd like to stay under 150 but will probably do 200.... even a used amp will do good.

peak doesn't matter. it's all about rms.

you can push over the rms, especially with good subs. will probably only be giving the subs the actual rms after you take impedence, voltage, and gains into the equation.

200 is a bit low.

I'm thinking either a Diamond 600.1 or one of the Eclipse amps.
