Memphis Sub question?

I recently purchased some Memphis 10" subs in a sealed box. The RMS is 250. I hooked the subs up to one of my boys setup and they were Hittin'!!! But his amp was really over the RMS and I don't want to screw up my coils.

What I need to know is what amp do you guys recommend to go with these that won't have me replacing the amp every other year? Also, what is the PAC Converter number that goes with the 6th Gen?

how many subs did you get? get an amp that can put out the power close to the recommended power range for your sub(s), that is also stable at the impedance you are running.

I got two PR104Ds. I just wanted a good suggestion for an amp that is very reliable and can do what I need it to do.

Do I need a 2 channel or mono channel amp and how should I wire them? Bridge or not bridged? Questions like that are what I need answered.

you can get a monoblock to power your subs. something around the 500 watt range.

Great!

That's what I was thinking. But, the RMS is 250. Are you saying 500 watts power or 500 RMS? Also can I come off the rear deck subs instead of getting the PAC converter or should I just go ahead and get the PAC?

The diagram that you posted is exactly what I was thinking about doing with a mono amp.

it'd be very safe to give those subs 350 rms daily in a sealed box, especially if you set the gains right.

must take actual amp output rms, box type and size into account.
