Reducing Exhaust Noise

I'll soon be upgrading from 2.25" piping and an A33B muffler to 2.5" piping and a Borla muffler. Obviously it's going to be louder. Not a ton, but enough. When I have the windows up, I don't want to hear the drone all the time. We drive Maximas, after all, not F-body's.

I already have sound deadening in all my doors, in the a-pillars, underneath the rear deck, a little in the trunk behind the rear seats (but in the trunk compartment), and I've lined the bottom of my trunk as well. All of this is just a single layer, though, with the exception of the backside of the front door panels and a small section of the trunk over the area where the muffler sits.

Where else should I pay attention to to ensure low cabin noise levels when I switch exhaust setups? Doesn't need to be silent, obviously, but just a little extra to keep it tame. I'm trying not to add a whole lot more because I hate adding weight to my car, but a little more here and there for the purpose of a little luxury won't hurt.

Suggestions?

From what I hear most of the exhaust upgrades yield very little results for performance except for the ypipe when it comes to performance. From what I hear the mostly just an improvment in the noise making department. So, you skip out on these upgrades and not worry any new noises.

You should dampenin the floors, wheel wells, and below the rear seat if you havent already. These should almost elminate your road noise and reduce the exhaust noise.

The goal isn't performance. My current b-pipe has been hacked up and repaired a million times for various reasons and has more issues than I care to deal with. I also want it to be slightly louder outside (and inside with the windows down) and have a nicer tone than what it has now.

Thanks for the suggestions. I don't know that I'll mess with the wheel wells or the majority of the floor, but I'll do under the seats and stuff.
