Soundstream D'Artagnan - quality question

I may be able to get a D'Artagnan used for $350 shipped. Just wondering if anyone remembers the quality on these. I remember the old Rubicons and think those were pretty nice. On paper, the specs are what I'm looking for. I'd just like to know from anyone who remembers first hand if this amp was from the "good" or "not so good" era of Soundstream.

Thx.

If it's the older build they are sick, if it is the newer one stay away.

This is the problem. I don't know at what point they went from "older" to "newer". I know they haven't made the amp in a few years, but I don't know how old it is. Anyone know what year Soundstream changed?
