need an subwoofer amp.....

Well i am going to be selling my phoenix gold xenon 1200.1 . Now its going to be a bit hard to find an amp for my current specification. I have 3 12 " Jl w6v2s D4 . So i can either run .67 or 2.67 ohms. I need something in the 1000~1500 rms range. I have about 600$ to spend. So what are my options? Id prefer an amp that can do 1000~1500 rms @ 2.67 ohms so it wont put as much stress on my electricals system as ~1ohm would

1ohm draw from one amp, may draw less amperage than a 2ohm load from another amp producing that same power. So dont dwell on the impedance being the factor, rather the amplifier.

That being said just about any 2ohm stable amplifier can push that 2.67ohm load.

well 2.67 ohms to me i would consider that 3 ohms. You would get the power inbetween of what the amp does at 2 and 4 ohms. So the problem im having is id have less wattage being put out @ 2.67 id lose a couple hundred watts. Im trying to find something that will do like 1500 rms @ 2 ohms. So when you say the 1 ohm current draw your referring to class A/B VS Class D ?
