yep...I made this decision awhile ago. Ihad a jbl600.1 with no SSF and I sold it and got my new amp which has one. IF you can get any market value for the amp I would sell it and get something new. However, 12db slope is just fine for that power. unless you are playing test tones at full tilt you shouldbe fine.
