Anybody got any opinions on these brands?
Eclipse, MB Quarts, Focal, Rockford Fosgate
I can get hookups on the MB Quarts or the RF's
but I like the Focals the most. What do you guys think?

Well I've never been a fan of RF's components speakers myself. Make sure you get a chance to audition them before you plunk down yor money. You may prefer the MB Quarts or RF's. If you like them then that's your choice. nobody can tell you what you like

My favorite of those brands you mentioned are the Focal's. Other good components to consider are DEI Studio's, CDT Audio, Crystal Mobilesound, Magnat, Morel, Image Dynamics, Xtant and JL Audio.

My .02

As you can see in my sig, I chose the Focals because of their excellent staging. Originally, I was going with some a/d/s speakers on my system. I would also look at Eclipse.

Um, lets not forget Dynaudio Out of those you were sugesting I'd pick the Focals. MB's are nothing but a name IMO, and I've never been impressed with anything RF has. But again, that's just me. I would try to audition all of them, to see which one YOU like the best, because in the end, you will be the one listening to them.

how can you say RF are the best, when in the next sentence you admit you've never used anything else?

If I were going by that logic, I could say my $49 coustic coaxes were the best, because I'd never owned anything better before them. yup.. sounds great.

Really are opinions don't matter. (not a flame) You really need to go out and listen to them all. You will here some that you like and some you don't like.

For example: I know a lot of people who, live by-die by, MB Quarts. When I first heard them I didn't like them because of how harsh the tweeter was. I high hat in those speakers hurt the hell out of my eardrum. I couldn't get em.

Just my 2

I like the Quarts only because I prefer the titanium tweets so it'll cut through some of that road noise. Not too sure about the others. My friend has JL Audio separates and they sound pretty good. Well, that's all... good luck.

I like how ppl say "MB sounds good if you listen to them off axis" .. duh, wtf? You mean i cant listen to them directly, it might hurt?

(Not a mb fan here) .. my friend whos .. err behaves 'younger' loves them for the ear bleeding effects.. hes also blown like 5 sets.

I went with Focal Utopias. Workin on gettin them in asap. (Kickpanels)
