PPI Amp with Atlas 15?????

I have been given this link as a recommendation amp for my Atlas 15.

PPI AMP ON EBAY

Would that match up well with my Atlas 15? It's pretty inexpensive and I hear it's pretty good. Anyone have any experience with them?

Thanks,
Aaron

So is it a good amp? Better than my Profile I have now? I've decided I will change my amp, not the sub.

may be better than the profile, but not a "great" amp by far.

What would you recommend for the Atlas? Try to keep it cheap.

Don't get anything until you can drop a good $400 or so. Save up, do it right the first time.

It's not that easy. I just don't want my sub to clip and still get pretty loud.

Oh, Not to crazy like 600 bucks meaning I don't want to spend 600 bucks. I'm leaning more towards like maybe 200 used.

So waste 2 bills now, then waste some more when that amp eventually fails. Seriously man... save up even if it takes a couple months... it's worth it.

yeah, for now turn the gain down a bit so you don't kill the sub. when you have sufficient funds, get a quality amp.

I believe the sub is rated for about 350 to 400 watts rms.

I did not buy anything yet. That JL amp sounds interesting. Please send me a PM with more information.

I talked to the owner of the company and he said as long as you watch that gain it should be find. Many people have used that sub at 500 watts rms

Ah, I guess if Chad said it was ok...then it's ok. I never did get to talk to that man. I tried countless times, so I end up going with SS. /rant over
