Solobaric 10" dust cover loose. Adhesive?

Messing around with a round Solobaric C10 sub and after installing into a .61cf sealed box, I noticed there is a slight seperation of the dust cover and the woofer that allows air to pass thru it when the cone is pushed on.

I attempted to use Super Glue, but it did not hold at all.

Will this effect the performance of the woofer? Any ideas on how to fix it?

Only other idea I have is to run a bead of polyurethane caulking around the entire dustcover.

Also, there is not enough room to pull the dust cover up to add adhesive to the back of it. Only large enough to slide a piece of paper under it.

Gorilla Glue is the bomb! I was able to almost completely fix a busted subwoofer with Gorilla Glue. It was able to hold the voice coil to the cone of the woofer. I was pretty impressed.

http://www.ides.com/generics/CA.htm

This is just one of the sites I found while doing a quick google search. There were several though.

CA or cellulous acetate, is what the manufacturers use to "glue" the various moving part of a sub either together or to the basket itself. It is typically black in color, although other colors can be found, and is used folloed by an accelerator to speed up the hardening process.

Gorilla Glue is used to glue metal to metal, cement to cement, cars to the ceiling, etc. It is clear in color too.

Thank you. I saw a new product made by SuperGlue that had a accelerator and the glue. It was specifically stated to work with all plastics.

I am going to hook it up and see how it sounds. Then I'll decide if I want to attempt to seal it off.

Too bad you weren't closer. I have a bottle at the shop. I don't know anything about the SuperGlue brand though.
