Need Opinion on Speakers....

I think my audiobahn AS69Q blew today the amp keeps turnin off sayin OVER CURRENT and the speakers sound like ****! So heres deal I need to get some new ones. Currently I have 4x6 custom thing i made for doors that i proably could change to a 6x9 or 5x7 easy i think... Lookin to get 4 new speakers. I have new hu i just put in week ago. Clarion DXZ665MP

How would these compare...

First rule out Oval speakers.

stay under 150 for 2 rear 6x9. Wat do u mean by rule out ovals? my fronts?

Yes,Music is not meant to be reproduced through an oval, but rather a circle.

what could cause the OVER CURRENT on my one amp? im running 2 amps with 3 cap. 1 RCA input set for each amp. This happend after I installed new hu. I dont know all i know is havin 2 speaker its doesnt sound to good

true make sense. would 6.5 or 6x9 fit in max doors? I have a wood thingy I mad that I Rotto Zipped to fit 4x6

You are gonna want to go with 6.5" and get some mdf trim rings for the and get rid of the plastic piece in the door. that should get you started on your search.

ok well im gonna buy 4 new speakers in lil bit. I have 6x9 in back keepin same size but i have wood panel i made to fit 4x6 and i just need to know if a 6.5 will be fine in the door or will the window glass hit it? Wat is a mdf trim rings?

hrmm sorry to bud in your thread but i wanted peoples opinon on speakers i was gunna get. i new to this so i dont want anything high class and im under a pretty tight budget. i have the pioneer 6800mp and was thinking about getting new speakers. i need 4 6 1/2 speakrs two front and two back. Here are a few i was thinking about.

Pioneer 6 1/2 rev series tsd161r (rear or front?)
Kicker 6 1/2 coaxial spaker 055ks60 (rear?)
Sony 6 1/2" Car Speakers (XSV1642A) (front?)

How much are you wanting to spend on the speakers? Maybe for a little more you could get something nice just for the front.

uh my budget is like 400 or so (400 for 4 speakers and amp)
can you give me an example of speakers that i should get for the front and rear?
