average price for an alarm install?

for a viper 791 alarm. curious.

The most basic install is about $600. This includes pin switches, remote start and a single 2-way remote. If you want other options, this will drive up the cost. Window modules are often a pain to install, so if you want windows to roll up when arming, or to roll down using the remote, it will usually cost you a fair bit. I was quoted at about $1000 (from no less than 4 shops) for the viper 791 with all 4 windows having both up and down capability. Adding a GPS locator will set you back another $800 or so. =)

well, i already bought the alarm and such. i just need an install. i got quoted for ~200 today...

if you don't have the bypass module its 40 for the part.

In Cali it cost me $200 to install my Clifford Matrix 3.5. That included the bypass module.

well got the alarm installed yesterday for 200 including the bypass module. the guy did a great job concealing and soldering all the wires.

Wow ive called 5+ places in Tucson and they all want 250 for basic install and 50 for the backup battery.

the f*cking toggle switch that enables or disable the remote start broke

now i gotta bring it back in to get it replaced.

yeah, no kidding. i temporarily connected the two wires for now so my remote start will still work. gonna get a new switch put in monday.
