You don't need wire colors for a CD player...all you need is a harness, noob.

You didn't hook it up right. Double check where your +12v (constant) wire is going. This wouldn't have been a problem if you used a harness.

Sorry for thread jacking but i cannot create a thread...

I just installed a new deck in a 94 maxima... I used a harness and everything seems to be working but my back speakers... I hooked up the stock tape deck to see if my new speakers didn't work but they work fine with the tape deck. I hook my new deck back up nothing from the rears. I have tried everything. Thinking it may be the harness or even the deck itself. Has anyone else run into this prob?

How did you wire your new deck to the rear speakers?

If you read the info, you would know that you can't make a new thread until you have 15 posts.

There isn't exactly a "Memory wire". If there is a memory reset, your radio loses power from the battery.
When the car is turned off, battery wire is either pink / pink & blue for ur 95 max
goodluck

Is there a built in amp that will only work on a stock HU on a '94 maxima?

I hooked up an after market deck and now only the front speakers work. I have tried a new harness, a new deck. Still the same thing. I am positive that the deck is hooked up properly. I have installed decks in tons of Honda/Acura and have never seen this happen. Someone was telling me that Maximas have a built in amp. This is not a Bose HU just a tape deck if that helps. If I plus the stock HU back in rear speakers work.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

go to your trunk and look under your rear deck. you should have some small amps right next to your rear speakers.
