Those using Metra 70-7551 (help)

i have a 96 I30 with BOSE. i bought the METRA 70-7551 so i can use an aftermarket HU with the factory speakers. the problem i believe is with the remote wire(s). the HU harness has 1 blue wire while the METRA kit has two (1 on each harness). the blue says power antenna while the other blue/white says amp turn on. once i connect it to the HU blue, something by my passenger door clicks and when i turn on the HU it immediately turns back off then on and off again and again until i turn off the ignition. i've tried different combinations including 1 blue at a time, each one to red constant, yellow, etc. i dont have a voltmeter in case that would help at all. but any advice is appreciated. i've been without radio approx 2 months and drive almost 100mi daily. thanks in advance!
