crackling from speakers....back to stock bose deck perhaps?

ok heres the deal, i did this:

Putting an aftermarket radio on stock bose speakers: This applies to any generation maxima, and #4 applies to 4th gen and up.

-wire the deck's preouts to the wiring harness in the dash, which will send an unamplified signal to the Bose amps. You have front and rear preouts. Each of those has a left (white) and right (red). So youd plug in RCA ends to the front and rear preouts, leaving a few inches of wire for you to play with. For the front left RCA, there will be 2 single wires inside it. Wire those to white and white/black. The front right, wire those to gray and gray/black. Do the same for the rears, Rear left will be the green and green/black, and Rear right will be purple and purple/black.

now my problem is this:
after about a week of having this 'setup' done, im beggining to notice some crackling from the speakers, which leads me to believe that they want to blow. which i would not like, being on a tight budget for this kind of thing (about $0). therefore, i have thought of ways to get around this.

now, my question is: Can i somehow solder/wire up my subwoofers to my stock bose deck using a hi/low convertor or something? i know i can add an AUX output for my ipod because ive seen it in the 4th gen how to's. but i need/want to bable to hook up my RCA's and my remote wire to the stock bose too. Is this at all possible? any help greatly apreciated.

PS-bringing up the point i made above about me having about a $0 budget for audio, thus, i am NOT planning on/going to buy new speakers. thats why i pondered this up.

Oh and what went on my head to make me think this would work is this: stock bose puts out 0V normally, my HU puts out 5V normally. me rewiring 5V HU to 0V HU probably f*cked something up along the way and plus its supposed to be 5V HU not 0V...so why not just try to make the one thats supposed to put out 0V accept RCA's and remote wire if possible?

ok, im done, your turn

I've never heard of anyone using pre-outs to run the Bose amp. Your pre-amp outputs, although high voltage, are low current. You should be using a line level converter to step-down the output from your amplified outputs on your deck and running those to your Bose amp. You may have fried something in your deck using the pre-outs to run the Bose amp because of its impedance. If I were you I'd buy the Nissan Bose PAC adapter and run the Bose amp from your speaker outputs and see if that gets rid of the crackling. Otherwise it may be your deck, the Bose amp or your speakers that are fried. 2 out of 3 of those options are going to require you to get a new amp and speakers (you can't run the stock speakers from anything other than the Bose amp).

Is it all speakers that are crackling? If so, it is probably the HU. If it is only one speaker, that speaker is blown or you have a wiring problem along the way.

To add your subs to a stock head unit you need to buy a Line Out Converter from Walmart for about $18. Tap that into one of the rear speaker + and - wires. Then you'll have yourself some signal wires.

crackling only occurs during certains songs, some being more noticable than others. i know u can get the adapters at crutchfield...but do you think any stores would carry them?

also, no way to hard wire hi/lo level convertor and remote wire to the stock bose HU for 99max? (cause i already have the hi/lo level convertor...im cheap lol)

You don't need a freaking LOC or any adapter. Now you can just turn the bass down a bit and see if the cracking still occurs.
