Help with new car bose HU
Hello guys,
Just wanted to say hello to all the fellow maxima owners. I just got my first maxima and I'm loving it. All my friends/family have had/currently own maximas. Anyways heres my question. When I bought the car I just tested out the radio, I didn't try out the cd player or the tape player untill I got home. When I put a cd in it tells me disc error. I thought it might have been because of a burned cd, so I tested a regular cd and I had the same problem. What could be the problem? A friend of mine told me there could be dust inside there and to blow it out with a can of compressed air. What would be the best way to fix this issue?

^ You can get one off eBay for about $150 or so. You won't have to change out your Bose speakers if you upgrade to a non-Bose HU, but you'll need an OEM interface adaptor. Check out Crutchfield and put in you car's info and you'll see what I mean.

Thanks for the offer but my brother is going to let me use his old HU out of one of his maximas. I want to upgrade to the flipout navigation moniter eventually.
While I save up the bose one will have to do.
