JL Audio Stealth Box for 4th Gen Maxima

I was wondering if anyone has this and what there impressions are.
Does it hit pretty hard? Has anyone comboined this with the BOSE System?

Also does anyone have pictures of this installed?

Where did you purchase yours and for how much? I was looking on JL Audio's website and it does not look as if they have these any longer.

Thanks Guys!

Best Regards,

JP

You want to put the bose sub in a stealth box? Why?

Ya gotta buy a sub for that box. Pretty sure.
But if you combine it with bose it will most likely drown out the stock bose speakers. Why do you want a stealth box? There are a few people who have saved space by building boxes in the spare tire well, if that's what you are trying to accomplish.

Please step the FOCK away from the keyboard newb. The stealthbox comes with a sub, and the sub should have more bass than the bose, AND it can be tuned to work WITH the bose.

The j/l box is decent if you can get it cheap. Takes up the least amount of space out of anything. For the price you will probably pay though I suggest getting a box and sub + a good amp which will most likely cost a little less, and perform better.

Nismo-

Finally a good response, where the FOCK are these newbs coming from anyway?

Yeah, I am hoping that I will stumble across a Stealth Box. We will use it in our D.D. maxima so I want to retain as much trunk space as possiable with out spending a whole lot. Maybe I will just purchase a Bass Link or something similar.

Well I had a prefab box, .67 cu ft box, and I had cut away a tad bit of the sheet metal on the driver side rear 1/4 panel. Enough for the box to fit in that space and be pushed back to the rear 1/4 panel. Then I secured it from underneath with a couple of wood screws and it was mounted in facing the opposite corner. Lots of bass with this type of setup. As long as you have a solid sub, and good amp and use this location you'll be fine. I would go this route over a basslink.
