Does anyone know if the Bose stereo just plugs in or do I have to change the whole radio harness I have an 05

 

The bose head unit will plug in and play the stock non-bose speakers. However the output is only a pre-amp output and after you get the vol past about 23 it starts distorting.

I posted here to answer your question because I need to know if the stock bose amp will plug in at the trunk and work the stock speakers without changing the wiring. Any get an answer to this question yet??
