im gettin some dome....rattling

im gettin some dome....rattling

so my subs are rattling my dome light. well, not really rattling it, just bouncing it off my roof. im wondering is anyone know how to take the dome light out so i can throw some dynamat up there or something?

Look at the bottom end of the acrylic cover. You will see a small little notch where a small flathead screwdriver will fit. Pop the cover off there. THEN, you will see 3 phillps head screws. Unscrew them. THEN unclip the harness.

I don't think hitting the domelight locally will stop it, but give it a shot. You'd be better off stopping the rattling at the source, the trunklid and rear deck.

stuff some paper towels up there, that was the solution to my deck rattle.

my trunk is laced with dynamat already.

as for what hexon said, yea. i was thinkin maybe a chunk of foam padding or something.

how did you determine that it was the dome light. my rattling sounds like the rear deck lid?!?
