Component recommendation please

Hi all,

I currently have a Solobaric Kicker L7 in a custom box, and a PPI 5440 amp. It bumps, but not nearly as much.

I'd like to swap for a JL setup being how my speakers are JL VR600-CX.

Is there a specific box for 4th generation Maxima that can fit a 10" W3 sub and fit nicely in the trunk's sidewell?

What amp should I go (considering I want to go the cheapest possible)?

Thanks!

Are there any good tutorials on how to build one myself? The box I have now has a square hole in it due to the Kicker sub

if you want, you can just mount a new front baffle on top of the current one. then just cut out a circular hole for whatever sub you want to get. just make sure there's enough airspace for the sub.

I would do the same thing, then if you cared about looks just carpet the thing. That will run another what?...$10-20?
