i want to use stock remote with a aftermarket siren. possible?
i currently have a phyton something alarm system on my car and i like the sound of the chirp when i arm/unarm the car. actually that's the whole reason i got the alarm...is for the sound haha i like the stock remote tho. my question is can i hook the stock chirper siren thing to the stock alarm system?
so instead of honking when the stock alarm is set off it'll chirp like a regular car alarm? i also want to make it so when i arm the car instead of a honk it'll chirp. is it possible to do so? thanks.

1. Stock is not an alarm. It is simply keyless entry.
2. Need more information. Are you planning on disconnecting your horn? Because then your horn won't work at all, eg., through your steering wheel.
If you want to INTEGRATE the siren in conjunction WITH the horn, first verify that the voltage/signal going to the horn when arming the factory keyless entry is the same as the voltage/signal coming from the alarm when arming the aftermarket alarm. I'm pretty sure that the circuitry that makes the siren chirp the way it does is inside the siren itself, it doesn't come from the brain, so you should be ok there.
And I don't think you can mess anything up by trying this if you know what you're doing, as long as the factory voltage going to the horn is enough to power another siren as well.
Either way, this is a pretty crappy/ghetto/ricey way to make people think you have an alarm when in reality you don't.
