Mineral Spirits

What kind/brand of mineral spirts do you guys use when prepping for installation of sound deadening/dampening mats/liquids...?

I'm putting in 5 gallons of Spectrum Sludge in Maxine...I was looking at Gamsol...but it seems like it might be too harsh for cleaning the trunk/floor/doors...

Personally, I just used some simple green to clean any really bad dirt. I'm lazy though. =/

Simple green/windex/409/orange clean. They will all do. You don't have to sanitize, just get the dirt off so the dampening is sticking to metal, not dirt.

Denatured Alcohol. You can find it at Wallymart and any hardware store like Lowe's, the Home Depot, ACE and etc. Cleans metal and other surfaces from oil and other contaminates.
