Rainbow coaxils?

Thinking about taking out the Bostons I have for rear fill and using them in the house instead. I feel like they're being wasted chilling back there in the rear doors. So...I was thinking of getting some "cheap" Rainbow coaxils to replace them.

How do they sound? Price range?

I installed kx's in maxspeed02se, I think that is his SN, in the rear doors and was very suprised at output and quality. I think they sounded great. Def worth it IMO. I know Don has the SL's, they would only be an improvement.

Yes they were amped. He bought a Sound Stream 4 channel for those and the SLC's. If I had to guess, he was running around 100x4 watts.

are they really called coaxils? or are you just misspelling coaxials?

since when do you care about rear fill anyways? i say put your money towards a 4 channel amp if you want to hear the rear more. thats what id do anyways..

though im sure rainbows coax's would sound pretty damn good.

yeah i can never spell that damn word...

i always had rear fill. but i just never took the effort on properly amping them, and just focus my time and money for the fronts instead. i care about my front stage a lot more. i tend to take a lot of passengers, so i wanna keep them happy to a degree hence the reason for some rear fill.

He bought that amp from me. It was 110x4 rms IIRC. Solid amp for interior speakers. How did the entire system sound with that amp?
