Ok my Sony CD player doesn't want to spit out my CD's...I can just hear the motor spining (or whatever it does) but sometimes it pushes it like an 1/8 of an inch out..the only way to get this out is to take my face plate off & pull the CD out, but I have quit using the CD player all together...anyhow, is this something that can be fixed or am I gonna get stuck getting a whole new HU? No there is no warranty (rather it was 90 days) on the HU or else I would take it back. Got it back in march & paid $160 for it..bought it at some cheapo stereo shop & they said it was brand new..any advise would be nice. Thanxs

Uh you could pay someone to steal it, or make it really easy to steal, and have insureance pay for a better one. . . My g/f's was stolen at my complex last year and they gave her a better Pioneer one.

I agree, sony does suck. Most of their products are crap anymore except their ES stuff which is overpriced for what it is.

I have been using sony mobile ES for years and never really had a problem. Maybe you should go with that?

Too bad costco doesn't sell the deck. . . They have a very good return policy on that sort of stuff even if you don't have a reciept. . .

Yeah, Sony sucks. I have had tons of their **** break. I had Sony's top-of-the-line CD HU in the early '90s. It wouldn't eject CDs, either. But get this: IT BROKE SIX ****ING TIMES! And I had to do without a system for 10 days every time it broke. After the sixth time, I started buying Alpines and have been thoroughly happy ever since. Not only do Sony's products suck, but the company itself sucks. It is extremely arrogant and near-sighted.
