Need to know how to pull a stereo out

I have to go pull my system out of my car tomorrow since its totalled and the insurance won't give me nearly what I paid for it 4 weeks ago.

Read about it here
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=493806

Anyway, I had a full system put in; Alpine head unit, components, amp, sub box. I know how to pull everything except for the receiver. How do I get the dash apart to pull it and what tools do I need?

Links are 4 years old and are dead
Pictures are dead
Didn't see 5th gen specific stereo install/removal instructions
I was looking for a FAST reply, I've read through the FAQ before I had my system installed.

Now can I get my question answered?

Thanks for the help. That was in the FAQ and no, I don't want to pay.

Search function doesn't work for me, says its not allowed at this time.

Whats the point of having an "open forum" if everytime you ask a question people tell you to search. May as well archive this forum since every question must have been answered and there is no need for new ones

well either way you have to PAY. DONATE to maxima.org and then you can search! OR you can pay to look at the directions!

And if you looked more carefully in the FAQs...it shows you how to use a "free" search...

Pull the center vent assembly directly out...pull hard with your hands.
Pop up the console area near the shifter.
Loosen 4 bolts holding HU and climate control system 'rack' in place.
Disconnect wiring harnesses.
Unbolt HU.

Per Crutchfield instructions...

It helps when you are trying to insult someone else, if you can post a link correctly without a "..."
Heres what you were trying to post

Thanks for the correction, by no means was i trying to insult anyone.

Just trying to point out that in the time it took to post 3 messages telling this guy to search/buy instruction the link could of been posted and this thread would be long gone.
