New Eclipse Ipod adapter coming out soon?

I just got the IPC-106 adapter for my CD7000, but am curious to know if they have a new adapter coming out. I'm thinking they might be, because they recently reduced the price from $120 to $49, but maybe $49 is now standard for adapters these days. I dunno. I'm not even sure how old or new this one is, so I can't hazard a guess if it's time to release a new one or not. Anyway..............

I like the unit, the sound is excellent (specially compared to the FM modulator), and the navigation feels right with the CD7000 but a few things bug me enough about it to consider getting the new one. Namely, the fact that it doesn't have the "ALL" function in the artist folder. Meaning that if I get a hankerin to listen to say Rush and all of thier songs, I can't. I have to create individual playlists to do that. I'm also not a fan of the way the information is displayed in the random mode. Most of the scrolls end in the band name or album name. Ideally, I want song title, artist & album (in that order) with the song name being fixed at the end of the scroll. Minimally, I'll take song name, artist & song again as the fixed, but again it's not available.

Granted, I know most of the songs and who their by, but there is a decent amount of stuff on my Ipod I don't know, so that information would be most useful.

Well, enough of my rambling, but I was hoping to see if you guys know if there is a new adapter coming out, when it might be coming out and how it might be different than the old one.

Thanks for your help and insights.

The IPC-106 doesn't work with your AVN? Huh. Do you know if your unit came out first or the adapter?

I'm trying to figure out if it came out before the CD7000 or after and for it. Perhaps they haven't quite fixed all the kinks in it yet. I wonder if this their first go at an ipod adapter?

How does that work Don. Do they let us know in January, then release the stuff in March or April, or do they let us have it in January?
