Assassin 8'?

Have them in my 05, running two in IB mounted under the rear deck firing into the cabin and they sound awsome. However I did at one point have them in a sealed box in the trunk, could barely hear them so it depend on how you want to install it. In box in trunk not good, on rear deck love em... Oh and i have them power from a Polk Momo 300.2. I did not really seal up the trunk just plug up the holes on the rear deck with dynamate due to the fact I still need the rear seats to fold down. If I had to do it again, I would definitly buy them...

I've only had JL prior to these, always in a sealed box and bigger in size too, 10s and 12s. Overall I am happy with the assassins but they can't compare to overall volume of bigger subs. But these do sound much better in SQ than the JL.

this is the wrong forum to look for in depth reviews of anything AA except the ava 15. Those subs for the price are worth it IMO...they did decent in a comparison test some known audio heads did on ca.com

8 " Assasins
So you are running two mounted under the deck. Did you have the Bose setup with the sub in the back deck or did you just add the two Assasins? How do you guys think one mounted in the rear deck replacing the bose would sound. Also replacing the bose amp and head unit with a pioneer premier. What would be a good amp to drive this sub?

Ya I'm fully aware, I've been through 10's 15's 12's and 8's and realize what an 8 can wilfully reproduce. My current 8's do sound great. I just think I want a little more ouput and these should do the trick.
