Amp mounting on rear seat?

I mounted my Polk/Momo C500.1 Amp on the 60 portion of my back seat. Used the screws that came with it and drove them into the back of the seat holding the amp up. Now one of them came loose, and its still in place, just one screw less. What can I do if I want to keep this style of mounting. I don't have room in my trunk or sub enclosure to mount it anywhere else? Any ideas. I know this is an audio noob question, sorry in advance.

first screw a piece of wood to the seat that is about the size of the amp and make sure it doesnt come out, then you can go about mounting the amp

I hated the mounting style of those momo amps when we carried em, awful design if you ask me.

You could just move the amp up or down an inch or so, to get the screws into new holes, and as long as theyre in tight you should be good again for a long time.

On one of my older cars, a '91 NX2000 I actually used plastic drywall anchors, then screwed into those. Held onto the back seat real well. And they can always be removed down the road if you desire.

backseat mounting is a breeze, I used short wood screws, my back seats aren't meant to fold up anymore (since I don't want to carry people around)

my amp takes up both sides of the seat. made a board and put a million screws through it and then mounted the amp ontop of the wood board. Looks better if you carpet it obviously.

hehe yeah did a carbon copy of what you did for me. Had to cut a larger piece of wood for the DLS. BIG AMP FTL. I did copy the 10000000 screws you put into it though.

No more of the crappy stuff. I've got some scraps of stinger black you're welcome to. They may be big enough. If not, you could probably seam them together.
