Bose + kicker?

Im not sure but I thought I heard that you couldnt attach subs or anything to a bose system? But I was at circuit city getting my rear speakers removed since they blew so I could give them to the dealer to get fixed (prob around $200 to fix) and this guy who also had a bose system had a kicker in his trunk. I dont really know much at all about sound systems but I thought you couldnt really attach anything to the stock bose system.

The only thing you cant do easily is add new mids/highs to the stock deck and stock amp.
You can add a new deck to Bose speakers, add an amp/sub to the Bose deck/mids/highs, or keep the Bose deck and get everything else aftermarket.
All of which however aren't great options. Go aftermarket, and get rid of all Bose. You wont regret it.

Is it possible to just replace the Bose sub without replacing the Bose sub amp on an 01 Max?
